This year is the second year of publication of Resources Data Journal. Resources Data Journal is an academic journal that publishes data papers, covering all disciplines of natural science and social science. A data paper is an important type of paper in academic communication. Data papers focus on the description of data resources, and their main purpose is to make data resources play a greater academic value. The data resource in the data paper is not the auxiliary material to support the academic point of view, but the main body of the data paper. The data resources in data papers are divided into three categories (1) primitive data resources, (2) phased data resources, and (3) grey literature resources. Resources Data Journal welcomes contributions from all over the world and looks forward to promoting a new era of data resource exchange through the joint efforts of academia. Resources Data Journal wishes all authors and readers fruitful results in the new year.

To analyze the economy and predict future developments, foreign exchange movements are considered necessary. To analyze foreign exchange movements, economic indicators, which are used to judge monetary policy and business conditions, are considered necessary. Since 2000, the Australian dollar has gained attention as a resource-rich currency and a high-interest currency. Fluctuations in the Australian dollar have a major impact on Australia’s export-dependent economy, as well as on countries that source resources and investors in the money. This paper looks at the impact of economic indicators in Australia, the US, and China on the exchange rate of the Australian dollar against the U.S. dollar. This article is of reference in Australian economic analysis.

The uncertainty decision-making model is widely used, not only in the petroleum industry, but also in investment analysis, product development, scientific experiments, feasibility studies, and other aspects. Different decision-making criteria may lead to different decision-making schemes, and the judgment of the decision-maker is an important factor affecting its compliance with a certain criterion. This paper introduces the uncertainty decision-making model and explains it through an example. This paper has certain reference values for further understanding of the uncertainty decision-making model.

Resources Data Journal is an academic journal that publishes data papers, covering all disciplines of natural science and social science. The establishment of Resources Data Journal provides a new platform for the academic exchange of data resources.
Data resources are playing a more and more important role in promoting economic and social development and supporting scientific research. Data papers, which focus on the description of data resources, are important types of papers in academic communication and have been highly recognized by the academic circles. Data papers are of great significance for (1) ensuring the integrity and availability of data resources, (2) being beneficial to the sharing of data resources, (3) enhancing the academic influence, and (4) promoting scientific research cooperation. Resources Data Journal is founded following the trend of global change and digital development.

A data paper is one of the important article types in academic communication. Data papers focus on the description of data resources, and their main purpose is to make data resources play a greater academic value. Data papers involve not only natural sciences but also social sciences. Academic articles, including data papers, have a unique genre form, which needs to be stated through a certain structural model. Nowadays, with the information explosion and the acceleration of knowledge updating, the effective structure model can not only quickly display the relevant information in the data paper, but also make the data paper level clear and logical. Through the collation and analysis of the data papers, this paper refines two kinds of structural patterns and then explains the writing points of their main constituent elements. This paper has a certain reference value for the writing of data papers.

A data paper is a type of academic article, which has been highly recognized by the academic circles. The purpose of the data paper is to highlight the academic value of data resources and promote the effective use of data resources through the description of data resources, and acquisition methods. Data papers, which include natural sciences and social sciences, have become an important type of article in academic exchanges. However, for most scientists and technicians, data paper is a relatively unfamiliar concept. Crude oil is a mixture of various hydrocarbons and is classified as light oil or heavy oil. Heavy oil is considered to have a high development value, comparable to the residual recoverable reserves of light oil worldwide. Reducing development costs and maximizing heavy oil recovery from underground are common challenges for the oil industry. There are two methods for recovering heavy oil: thermal recovery and non-thermal recovery. This paper explains the development technology and technical points of heavy oil.

Tourism resources are the material and non-material carriers to attract tourists. Tourism resources are developmental and innovative, and they are the dynamic basis and source of the sustainable development of the tourism economy. The determination of tourism resources mainly depends on (1) the characteristics and plasticity of tourism resources, and (2) the changing trend of tourism market demand. This paper summarizes the classification and regional distribution characteristics of tourism resources in Japan. This paper has a certain academic value for further understanding the definition and cognition of Japanese tourism resources.
[Data Paper] Tourism resources and their characteristics in Shandong Province

Shandong Province is located in the east of China, and its tourism resources are unique. The 17 prefecture-level cities in Shandong Province have formed different regional labels due to the diversity of topography and landforms and the differences in history and culture. This paper summarizes the tourism resources and their characteristics in Shandong Province, including (1) the general situation of tourism resources in 17 prefecture-level cities, and (2) the characteristics of tourism resources. This paper has a certain academic value for optimizing the space of tourism development, deeply excavating the characteristics of tourism resources, and speeding up the formation of a new pattern of tourism development.

Rice is the most important food crop in China, and its area and total yield rank first in China. China has a vast territory and a large span of rice farming area, and the growth and development conditions of rice are different. The southern part of Shandong Province is a traditional rice-growing area in China. Based on the planting conditions of the rice growing area in the south of Shandong Province, this paper introduces the rice planting patterns and characteristics in this area. This paper has a particular academic value for further understanding rice planting patterns.
